New Delhi, September 01, 2006. The Chief Minister of NCT of Delhi, Ms. Sheila Dikshit flagged off four Multi utility Vehicles for the Government of Congo, in the presence of the Hon'ble Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Mr. Sriprakash Jaiswal , Hon'ble Union Minister of State for Steel, Mr. Akhilesh Das , distinguished personalities from various Embassies, Government and non-government organizations and the industry.
This is in keeping with the commitment given by Mr. Rohtas Goel , who is The Honorary Consul of the Republic of Congo , in New Delhi, to the Honorable Commerce Minister of the Republic of Congo, Ms. Adelaiide Moundele Ngollo, during her visit to India, in November 20005, when she requested for some aid to the Government of Congo.
Speaking on the occasion Mr. Rohtas Goel reiterated that “This is just small step towards strengthening of bi-lateral ties between the Government of India and Government of Congo. We would remain committed to extending all possible help for the well being of people of Congo.” |
