The Minister of Foreign Affairs and francophony, H. E Mr. Rodolphe ADADA visited India from the 25 th October- 28 th October 2006 with his delegation. On this visit he was accompanied by his wife Mrs. Daniele Marie Connant ADADA . The other delegates were : H. E Ms. Gisele NGONDO, Ambassador, Ad joint Secretary General, Head of the Department Europe, America, and Asia-Oceanic, Mr. Ernest TCHILOEMBA TCHITEMBO, Diplomat Counselor of the Minister of State, Mr. ANGUINGA, Cabinet Attaché of the Minister of State and Mr. Emmanuel OKANA MONGO , Cabinet Attaché of the Minister of State.
This visit of the Honorable minister was a pre- visit to the visit of the President of the Republic of Congo arriving in India in the first half of the next year.
The Minister with his delegation then made a visit to the Consulate where a meeting was held to define the forthcoming visit of the Honorable President of the Republic of Congo and to develop Cultural and Business forum between the two countries.
The Delegation was then taken to visit the famous monument in New Delhi the Red Fort and the culturally rich Nirula Handloom Emporium where the rich heritage of the ancient India can be seen clearly. The Hony. Consul along with his family organized a party in the honor of the Foreign Minister at his Farm House in Mehrauli followed by a dinner.
During his visit the Honorable Minister met his counter part Mr.Pranab Mukherjee, honorable Minister of External Affairs, Government of India and held a discussion in promoting the bi-lateral ties between the two countries and also the forth coming visit of the Honorable President of the Republic of Congo. He also attended a lunch given in his honour by the Honorable Minister of State for External Affairs, Mr. Anand Sharma.
H.E Mr. Rodolphe Adada with his delegation visited the Red Fort and the Nirula Handloom Emporium to do some shopping of the Indian traditional handicraft. He also visited the historic Taj Mahal in Agra and admired the serenic beauty of the world famous ancient monument. |
